The forth day in the North America continent.
Reported By Tooru Ono
I fell into sleep unconsciously this morning against my will.11:30 a.m. of the local time. ( probably 23:30 , midnight, in Japan time.) Two time differences, between Japan and San Francisco plus between San Francisco and New York, made my sense crazy. Furthermore my schedule is completely out of control. Yesterday was almost consumed in moving. I checked out the hotel after nine in the morning, departure time of the flight was past 12:30 in the noon. Five hours flight brought me to New York air port at past 8:30 p.m. Before 10 p.m. I got in the downtown. I met elder sister of Mr. Eguchi of Nakatsu city, Oita Japan, to confirm my three days schedule in New York. I dropped in a jazz-bar ( half space was Karaoke bar like, because visitors enjoy singing in-between professional singers.) accompanied by her to enjoy only for a short time. This was all I could do today. So, you can't see any picture on this report.......but it may make you somewhat lonely. Now, I will show you here pictures of the hotel room. The pictures were far better than I have expected. The hotel name was RIHGA ROYAL HOTEL who prepared Japanese Asahi news paper for a guest from Japan at the room before I checked in. The size of the room is spacious: entrance hall is followed by a living room the size of about ten Tatami mats. Beside the living room is a bed room the size of about ten Tatami mats as well. Beyond it is a bath room accompanied by an independent shower corner divided by the partition glass. The room is large enough for me to stay by alone. In the living room, there is a phone and a FAX machine itself. I can have a small meeting in the room, indeed. The room is designed, I am sure, for busy businessmen from Japan. I have two TVs, one in the living room another is in the bed room. Many mirrors are too, indeed. The window is of bay window type, a smart design. The view from the window is, however, is poor. I can see only the walls of the buildings. Now, I have just made a call to Mr. Maekawa of JETRO. What can I hear from him? I ask your expectation.A BODY shop in San Francisco air terminal. There are many body shops even in UA area... I admire.
