節足動物門　甲殻綱　アサヒガニ科

　大分でも県南にいるカニです。特徴ある姿は一発でアサヒガニと分かります。ときどき宴会などでお目にかかりますが、味はカニとしては平均点です。しかし、なんと言っても湯がく前から真っ赤な姿は食欲をそそります。(97年10月16日　長崎市)


This crab live in the south of Oita-ken. The shape is unique, you can distinguish it from other crab.
Distribution areas are the south of Japan, India and West pacific. The carapace length is about 15cm. (Oct. 16 '97 Photoed at Nagasahi-shi)
