06820 ハリセンボン (Harisenbon) Diodon holocanthus 　

　ハリセンボンって食べたって話は聞かないけど、図鑑には「美味と言われる。」とある。「言われる」って表現は筆者は直接経験してしないけど、そうらしいよってとこか。喰った奴に話を聞いてみたい。
　大分じゃ「いがぶく」とか「けんぶく」とか呼ばれるらしい。膨れたこいつを生かそうとすると始末が悪い。水槽に入れても体が完全に浮上し、呼吸ができるか心配になる。

I don't hear that Harisenbon Diodon holocanthus is eatable, but picture book said "Someone said that it was delicious". So, the writer of the book didn't eat it.
The fish is called "Igabuku" or "Kenbuku" in Oita. It is difficult to deal with inflated harisenbon. I concerned for respiration of inflated harisenbon. (June 11 '97 Photoed at Saganoseki)
