Welcome to the Play Archives

When I was a child, there were many traditional plays around me. They were handed down from parents to children, from children to grandchildren. Some of them are still alive as they were or modified, others have already gone. Here, I put some of them in the following sections.

January: New year's play

February: Snow man and snow rabbit

March: The bivalve shell coupling and "Otedama"

April: Making flower wreathes

May: bamboo stilts

June: Teru-teru-Bouzu

July: River playing

August:Fire Works

September:Bicycle and tricycle

October:Hide-and seek

November:Horse riding game

December:Shove and push
