It was very steamy yesterday as if it was already in the midst of the rainy season, but today it cleared up and became hot and sunny. I feel uneasy about the rice seedlings I saw yesterday in the rice paddy.
I went down to the rice paddy. Oh, I found the sound growing of the seedlings. Old newspapers and sun shields are removed.
A close inspection teaches me the height of the seedlings….about 12-13 centimeters. You can see the seedlings are set in the shallow boxes the size of 25 by 55 cm.
The paddy was used for wheat cultivation until recently and the straw was already burnt away. It smells scorched around me. The ash will surely become a part of fertilizer, I guessed.
Now what is the next step…..
