Everyone can try everything for himself.
Young brothers
Mr.Yosihiro Nagabuchi, 21 years old, is the representative of "Boctor
Brothers Company". There is childlike still now.
He has contracted to make Web page of boutique which young women like
to visit in the COARA.
" As there is the Company in the name, off course it is decent
business. But I have an income of 0 yen!" He deplored lively.
This name, " Brothers Company", is interesting, and reminds me of the
company which named "-----Brothers" of Europe and America. In fact the
representative is younger brother and elder brother who is the
graduated student of Kyushu Univ. is common employee.
But elder Brother seemed to suggest this plan. As he had a dream that
he want to try something in his school days with the Internet, he
consulted with his brother who quit fashion technical school. And they
made a company which they mixed the fashion and the Internet with some
of their friends last November.
Suitable niche industry
It's interesting example. Still now there was a computer technician
first. Though he would like to make Web page he had no other
professional technique. But they have technique of fashion. They have
known about the bland name, relation of shop and shop, and relation of
wholesale store and retail store. So I think that it is easy for the
boutique which would like to have Web page to talk about it.
It sounds like suitable niche industry, but the world isn't so easily.
They said " Though we have been showing about 80 shops, we can't get
money. As people have low consciousness of the Internet, we can't get
advertisement rates. We owe 1000000 yen still now. Is there any
volunteer sponsor?", with smile.
Young people
In fact, it seemed that there are various young people who want to do
something around the Internet. And some of them seldom visit the Hyper
Station in COARA Secretariat.
The other day a young woman who had been in Vancouver, Canada for
about 5 years and came back Japan two weeks before gave me an E-mail.
" I graduated computer collage there and worked at PC company half an
year. And now, I want to do something in relation computer. Please see
me." she said. So we are trying to seek what we can do.
Well, an American who studies in Oita Univ. also came and said "Is
there anything I can do. I don't mind volunteer."
Don't you feel that these young people have frontier spirit in common?
Adult generation
I showed the big local development plan that President Mahathir of
Malaysia try to invite multimedia industry the last time. I felt
international frontier spirit which swallows American and Japanese top
enterprises . It's wonderful. But it seems that it's not only big
enterprises and international trend. Computer Labyrinth seems the
frontier world where everyone can try everything for himself. It is not
only for big enterprise but also for young netizens who use the
Internet as an ordinary tool all the more. We, adult generation, would
like to have dream as the young generation.
Shall we try something together?
Well, I heard that the elder brother of the Boctor Brothers Company
respect for the President Mahathir.
