Woman's Period
Getting along with electric network.
Reassuring support tools There are many information oriented event in Autumn. This November I attended "Mellow Forum" and " Networking fair for women" as a panelist. "Mellow Forum", in Tokyo, was for advanced age, and "Networking-" was held in Yokohama. Both of them are, so to speak, the group which was regarded as the weak of society. But I supposed that the Internet and the personal computer communication are very for them at these event. By the way, at the "Networking-" , naturally there were only women in the hall. Besides most of them, young women, try to manage the Internet by themselves. I realized that the Internet was spreading rapidly and widely. 90% of resigned people Of course, most of the panelists except me were women. The panelist were Mrs. Machi Tawara who is a poetess and presides the electric meeting of the Tanka on the personal computer communication, Mrs. Kaori Sasaki who is a president of the company of translation and is a T.V anchor, Mrs.Yayoi Yamaguchi who is an ex-director of Yokohama Junior Chamber inc. and Mrs. Kazuko Yamaguchi who is the chief of the room which pushes on with the woman plan. All of them are active like blazes. By the way, Mrs.Sakae Hattori, who made connect with me before the event, said " Mr.Ono, 90% of resigned people on account of taking care of their aged family are women. Did you know that? I suppose that computer network helps these women.", with smile. Well, not only person of advanced age but also the person who takes care of one's aged family needs the network as a social weak position. Naturally, you want to ask me " Why you, man, attend there?". I think that there are many lively women in the COARA, so they would like me to show those women. Computer networking marriage In the COARA, woman use the computer network properly according to her situation, as the unmarried period, until first childbirth, the first period of child's care, the middle period of child's care, the end period of child's care. At the unmarried period, of course they sometimes got married to a man who she got to know in the network. Mrs. Tawara also said " At first, I wondered they got acquainted with partner only by the letters, and got married. But it seemed that the letters clearly brought out the truth like character and personality." That's right. When you really meet or telephone, there is some sense in nodding without saying or in saying " er-" or "uh-".But when you use the letter, there is very little sense in not using the subject, the predicate, and the object clearly. So though you don't use many words, there is rather sense in talking with company. And you continue conversation once a day in this way, after one year, you will know each other well. In the COARA, one couple got married long time ago in this way. I remember that mass media often said " This is the first computer networking marriage!" loudly. SOHO This time, I think women who got not only the personal computer communication but also the Internet became much robust. They try to use these tools in their businesses, too. By the Internet, they can get the ability for the job which is not inferior to man in their place of work. In fact, Mrs. Hattori made most of the contact of business with me by E-mail. But they can get not only the bility but also the chance to start an enterprise by themselves. They have all of the world server as a database at their command, and actually make contact of business with many person by E-mail. Though there are "drags" like childbirth and child's care, Mrs.Sasaki manages the company on her own, in this way.Her case is good example. In the COARA, there are some women like her, some of them preside mailing list in which they sent E-mail each other by specific topic related to work of them, and other young women realize the SOHO(small office home office), which is the least fashion. This is just going to be the period when we feel that woman get along with electric network still more.
