A Net Beauty who was defeated by a cat.
The COARA secretariat has a TV studio.
The COARA broadcasts 30 minutes program named "Café COARA"
on the Internet every week as a telecast.
Though the general Internet secretariat seldom have the TV studio,
the COARA secretariat has it.
. And we open the Café from 19:30 every Monday. There are two waitresses
and a regular customer, me. And some COARA members or the of others
visit there.
The waitresses and we usually carry about a small digital video camera,
and cover the thing which we are interested in.
Besides, we interview the people who is well-informed in the Internet,
and talk with the member of the COARA at the TV studio in the program.
The next day of the program, it becomes a video on demand program.
So we can watch it not only the live but also the recording.

The waitresses are Miss.Sawako Yamasaki, office worker, and Miss.Misako
Hoashi, dental technician. As you know, I showed them last time. I talk
about Miss. Hoashi this time.
Though Miss. Yamasaki and she had enjoyed personal computer
communication with word processor since they were teen-ager, they
didn't try the Internet easily. Because they were satisfied enough with
the personal computer communication.
But, as Sawako designed a Web page, with her multimedia personal
computer, Misako made up her mind. She had took personal computer
away from her father, and designed cool Wed page.
Besides she stressed on her picture in kimono , she got E-mail from
many men. Some one may has thought that she showed a picture of an
interview with a view to marriage.

"Well, we can get such many reaction to personal information sending of.",
Misako was surprised at the matter. And she began to show not only the
actual self of the dental technician but also the virtual self which she
would like to be, in her Web page.
Then she got many fans, and someone entered for the " Net Beauty
Contest" of the NHK satellite broadcasting without her permission.
Though it sounds half in joke, she was defeated by a cat - as you know,
an animal -by a narrow margin. But she won an overwhelming victory
in the contest and held the second place. The result was that she became
famous as " A Net Beauty who was defeated by a cat", again.
With these experience, she created new Internet community. In this
community she consider the Web page to be remark and the E-mail to
be response. And she made many friends in or out of the Japan.
Lecture
Besides, she was invited to the conference of the dental technicians'
association in Tokyo, and she gave a lecture.
She, as twenties young woman, spoke about her personal experiences
that the netizen are wonderful.
Off course, her lecture was well received, so that she was asked again.
The doctor who works in the dentist which she works is surprised at her
popularity, isn't it. This summer, the information outlet was laid in her
room. This is the Internet exclusive line. We prepared this line for a part
of the multimedia experiment. The near future when we will take the
information outlet for granted, there will be many young girls like her.
There is much hope for the future.
