Thank you very much for visiting our special pages welcoming the
South Korea-Japan Summit meeting held in Beppu, Japan.

If I may express my frank feeling, this is a great opportunity
for us to introduce the wonderful things Beppu has to offer to
all of you around the world. Internet makes it possible to transmit
what is happening in and outside of the summit meeting through
the eyes of our citizens direct to even the opposite side of the globe.

We wanted to experience the wonder of this new media and share
it with people like you. We have among the members of COARA
Korean members from our early days who have participated
in various mutual activities including participation in the South
Korea-Japan PC communication forum.

Based upon these experiences, it is our wish that this summit will
spur future events. Just as we look very much forward to the
World Cup Soccer games, we hope for increased use of information
technologies which should lead to greater good-will and personal
relations between the two countries.

This is why we have established this special event site, created
exclusively by volunteers from COARA.
